A breakthrough day, praise the Lord!

  Today was a much better day! We started the day by going to an English speaking church here. It was definitely just what we needed. It was so good to be with other people worshiping God. It was also ministry fair day so it was really great to walk around and see all the ways they are involved in the community here in Bangkok. They do so many things to try and reach the heavily Buddhist population they are surrounded by here in Thailand. The church we went to was called Evangelical Church of Bangkok. We picked it because they had a later service (11:15) and it was close to the hotel. Also because according to their website we wouldn't be worshiping snakes or anything just a normal Christian church. :) You never know when you just pick a church at random so we like to check websites. We gave the address to the nice man at the door and he told the cab driver right where to take us. I dressed Kannika in her traditional Thai outfit we got her and she loved it.

  Kannika did well today also. I knew when she woke up this morning that is was going to be a better day. Yesterday when she work up she looked at us and I knew we were not who she was hoping to see. This morning she woke up happy to see us. The best part of the day was at church she actually kissed Darryl on the cheek. After nap time she played in the hotel room for a bit then we went out to find a Thai dress for her and have dinner. She did great all day. Lots of smiles and playing. That doesn't mean tomorrow will be great but it does mean today was great.
